**Telephony Service Manager**
- Hybrid Working

- 6 - Month Contract

Specific focus will be on transitioning the management of suppliers. The post holder will actively engage with current supplier to manage the contract performance and make improvements to ensure performance adheres to service standards. The Telephony ContractService manager will also be involved in attending and contributing at senior management meetings both in Service Delivery and Service Management to provide feedback on the performance of the supplier against service standards.

**Detailed deliverables for the engagement**:**1. Oversee day to day management and performance of the Contact Centre
2. Successful planning and engagement with the supplier to identify any potential issues and resolve any impact on suppliers readiness so they can support the clients end to end service in view of the forecasted demand in 2023.
3. Ensure the levels of service provided by supplier meets customer needs and quality standards, reducing complaints and minimising adverse impacts on clients reputation.
4. provide strong leadership and guidance for members of the team working on this contract.
5. public protection is maintained and improved (where possible) across the suppliers supply chain.

**Detailed skills (including specialist skills) and/or knowledge required**:
Strong sector knowledge covering:
1. Experience of monitoring/managing contact centre performance
2. Reducing contract duration whilst optimising customer experience
3. Optimising contact routes to reduce avoidable contact, repeat contacts and improve overall customer outcomes
4. Forecasting contact demand patterns & understanding drivers of contact
5. Developing, implementing and utilising management information to monitor overall effectiveness and optimise end to end contact services
7. Supplier/contract management & negotiating - implementing improvement / rectification plans
8. Qualified by experience to act as intelligent customer to support procurement of new services - from supporting the design, business requirements, challenging solutions/options presented by bidders, evaluation of bids, ability to oversee implementation andmobilisation of the new service.
