**_ About the role _**

A fantastic temporary opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic HR Operations team. The HR Operations team is at the center of helping our service areas successfully deliver the Council’s programme of transformation and service redesign.

The HR Advisor will be instrumental in providing project management support and co-ordination of HR activity which will include the development and monitoring of project plans, ensuring activities run smoothly and according to agreed deadlines.

Key responsibilities for this role will include:

- Providing a professional, responsive and legally compliant advisory and consultancy service on a diverse range of human resources issues including those associated with organisational change and service redesign.
- Providing comprehensive HR, project and programme management support to the HR Business Partner in identifying, developing, and delivering people interventions in line with business objectives and executing key strategic projects.
- Supporting the effective delivery of a range of HR projects critical to the success of the Council’s People Strategy

Your style and approach will reflect our EPIC values and behaviours. This role will be pivotal in helping the HR Business Partner support the delivery of the improvement plan within Children’s Services.

You will have previous experience and an understanding of service redesign and organisational change processes and will have had exposure and experience of project management methodology and techniques.

This role will be based at Trafford Town Hall. You will have flexibility in terms of hybrid working at home and in the office.
