Job title: SEN Coordinator
Location: Central London - hybrid working
**Salary**: £300 per day
Ongoing: Ongoing
Hours - Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
You will be the primary face to face contact for children, young people and their families. You will be responsible for completing the EHC Needs Assessment and reviewing the EHCP processes. You will be maintaining a caseload, whilst developing strong workingrelationships with families, education settings and health &social care services.
Other responsibilities include:
- Providing an EHC Assessment and Review function for children and young people who have EHCP's
- Providing comprehensive casework management and administrative support to ensuring the effectiveness of the SEN service
- Undertaking the statutory assessment process of an EHC needs assessment
- Attending annual reviews to ensure that they are person centred and focused on achieving the outcomes for the child or young person
- Completing the annual review process in accordance with legislation's and time frames

What you will have:
- Enhanced DBS
- At least 2 years experience working in a LA in SEN
- Extensive knowledge of the statutory framework and SEN legislation
- The ability to write and amend EHC Plans to a very high standard
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work with parents, social cares, the NHS and schools
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
