**What is the initial role?**
In short, a Trainee Underwriter is at the heart of the Underwriting team and give you the perfect stepping to become a Mortgage Underwriting.
You be trained on all aspects of underwriting to lenders' specifications, delegating third party tasks, and liaising between the adviser and client to ensure the best possible outcome is delivered.
You will work directly with various Second Charge lenders and the relationships you build with each of them is as important as that with your team or clients. You will have a team of experienced packagers around you to give support and training.
You will receive regular lender training from Roving Underwriters and BDM’s continually on site.
