We are excited to be working with a Mortgage Brokerage, on their search for a Traineed Underwriter to join the growing business. Our client has a unique understanding of its clients’ challenges and offers a simple, flexible approach.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Action new lending requests for mortgages
- Analyse credit worthiness
- Prepare detailed credit proposals
- Prepare offer documentation
- Underwrite and approve loans against agreed lending criteria
- Handling broker calls
- Manage customer expectations
- Liaise with internal and external parties to effectively manage the lending process

**Skills and Experience**:

- Proven working experience within the Mortgage industry
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to plan, organise, prioritise and manage time
