Burgess Hill (parking available on site and nearby) - 15/20 min walk from nearest station

Mon - Fri 0830-1730 office based

Salary £21000 per annum plus great company benefits

We are delighted to be working alongside our highly reputable, progressive and friendly client as they seek to recruit an additional sales office administrator to join their team due to ongoing company expansion. This is a fully admin based role and youwill not be responsible for company sales, purely supporting the sales team with their admin tasks.

**The role**:
This role supports the sales operation providing administrative support for sales staff. Working closely with members of the sales and operations teams you will respond to and route all incoming sales enquiries ensuring timely and accurate responses areprovided as well as elevating prospects to account managers as necessary.

**Person spec / competencies required**:
Flexible, self-motivated and punctual

Good communicator and team player

Able to act on own initiative / forward thinking / problem solving

Adaptable and able to multi task and show a willingness to learn new skills

Ability to work in a busy environment and meet deadlines

Ability to prioritise work effectively

**Experience required**:
Good level of computer skills including MS Excel, Word and Outlook

Good written and spoken English, (Maths and English GCSE at Grade C or above)

**Main duties / responsibilities**:
Present the company as a credible and professional supplier.

Act as the internal first point of contact for customers.

Process orders

Co-operate with field-based members of the sales team to ensure efficient and responsive service.

Handle and record incoming sales enquiries, qualifying and dealing with as required.

Answering incoming calls whilst ensuring a high level of customer service.

Process / raise paperwork for new orders

Manage online orders and process one-off enquiries through to order, handling customer service enquiries as required.

Administration & filing of electronic order instructions / records on back office system.
