Teaching Personnel work with a number of schools across Norwich who are always on the look out for experienced teaching assistants working from Early Years up to Key Stage 2.

As a teaching assistant (TA), you'll support pupils in their educational, emotional and social development either individually, in groups or as a whole class.

You'll also support the teacher by undertaking duties that will free up their time for teaching, such as preparing the classroom for lessons, making resources and creating displays of children's work. This role would be 5 DPW and would be starting in November.

Some TAs work exclusively with pupils who have special educational needs (SEN) or other specific needs

The ideal Teaching Assistant should:

- Have experience working as a Key Stage 1 or 2 Class Teaching Assistant
- Hold relevant qualifications (Level 3 TA / CACHE Level 3)
- Be flexible and patient
- Be able to communicate effectively within a team
- Be committed to work full-time
- Experience with SEN (desired not essential)
- Experience working with challenging behaviour
- UK address and right to work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
