**Temporary HR Advisor - Human Resources**
**Reference no: Cheshire W 5225842**
**Pay rate: £12.92 per hour PAYE**
**Role Length: This opening assignment is for 3 months**
**Hybrid role, predominantly working from home with 2-4 office working days per month** An HR Advisor is required to provide advice on a high amount of absence management casework, employee relations advice and general HR queries supporting managers in a Social Care environment. Previous HR experience working with adults and children’s Social Care teams would be an advantage. Key responsibilities:

- Advise on the more straightforward cases of absence, capability, discipline etc in order to support the Senior HR Adviser to meet objectives and timescales.
- Analyse and collate workforce information as requested by senior HR staff so that accurate and up to date HR data supports management decisions.
- Carry out job evaluation as required and maintain associated data bases.
- Undertake specific HR workstreams as required, including supporting organisational change, to ensure effective outcomes.
- Liaise with other HR staff and Employee Service Centre on all relevant matters connected with overall service delivery to ensure that communication channels are fully and effectively used.
- Participate in running of briefing sessions and workshops to support wider understanding of people management within the organisation.
- Respond to requests for information in order that accurate information is conveyed to the appropriate body on time.

**Qualifications**:

- NVQ level 4 or BTEC Higher, or equivalent.

**Experience & Knowledge**:

- Generalist HR experience.
- Experience of working with HR issues.
- Experience of providing HR related advice to managers.
- Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
- Knowledge of how to analyse and manipulate data.

**Skills**:

- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Able to work on own initiative.
- Ability to influence and persuade others while maintaining positive relationships.
- Strong IT skills using Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
