**Senior HR Advisor**:
The Senior HR Advisor will be working as part of the Schools Team ensuring that the HR Lead is supported in their role. They will build reputational credibility and contribute positively to the Schools HR Consultancy Buy-Back. They will actively and professionally advise on all aspects of casework; targeting sickness absence, performance management and conduct issues and will also be the named point of contact for Headteachers and Business Managers for a portfolio of schools.

LOCATION: Agile Worker - working from home with occasional travel to workspaces and Schools across the Borough of Cheshire West and Chester.

Here at Cheshire West and Chester Council we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join as a Senior HR Advisor to work as part of our Schools Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our well-established team who provide professional advice and guidance on a range of HR matters affecting Schools across the Borough. The schools team operate a buy-back service, so credibility and reputational image are a key underpinning factor.

You will be part of a busy but friendly operational HR team. Previous professional HR experience is essential as the post will include providing bespoke but compliant advice to schools on complex HR related issues. Previous experience in the education sector is not essential but may prove beneficial in working in our fast-paced team.

An up to date working knowledge of employment legislation, statutory education guidance, Codes of Practice and HR policies, procedures, and best practices together with good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft office 365 and Teams is also essential.

The role is full time 37 hours per week, full year. A flexible working request is open for discussion.
