Job Description

We present a thrilling opportunity for a seasoned HR Advisor to join our esteemed and dynamic HR team. As the HR Advisor, you'll act as the resident HR expert, playing a vital role in cultivating a positive and efficient work environment.

Your responsibilities will encompass supporting various HR processes, including employee relations, change management, performance evaluation, and talent development. You will directly report to the HR Business Partner, taking a proactive approach to address issues promptly, ensure effective communication, and assist managers in team development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educating staff and managers on company policies, procedures, and best practices for a positive work culture and legal compliance.
  • Assisting HR Business Partners by formulating action plans based on performance analysis to enhance key areas.
  • Managing onboarding for new employees
  • Overseeing approvals in HRIS (Workday) to meet essential deadlines like payroll cut-offs.
  • Conducting exit surveys and interviews with departing employees, providing valuable insights.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks in employee relations proactively.
  • Supporting in employee relations matters like conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
  • Handling employee relations cases and change projects by organizing documentation.
  • Assisting in organizational changes, redundancy processes, and change planning.
  • Offering guidance on HR liabilities, constraints, and risks to managers.
  • Providing coaching to junior managers to enhance team performance.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in an HR advisory capacity, a deep comprehension of UK employment laws, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They should demonstrate discretion in handling confidential information, adept problem-solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HR software platforms is required. A CIPD qualification (or equivalent) is preferred.
