Front End Developer

**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain a user-friendly and responsive website that provides an excellent user experience. This includes ensuring that the website is easy to navigate, that the content is well-organised, and that the overall design is visually appealing.
- Work with designers to translate wireframes and mockups into code. This requires a strong understanding of both design and code, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both designers and developers.
- Implement new features and enhancements to the website. This includes adding new functionality, improving the performance of the website, and fixing bugs.
- Fix bugs and improve the overall user experience. This requires a good understanding of how users interact with the website, as well as the ability to identify and resolve problems.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in front end development. This requires a commitment to continuous learning and the ability to adapt to new technologies
- The front end developer should be able to work with the wider Technology team to ensure that security and performance are optimised.
- Be mindful of accessibility and user experience standards. These standards are designed to ensure that websites are accessible to people with disabilities, and that they provide a good user experience for everyone
- Implement security measures to prevent cyber attacks
- Ensure that the website loads quickly and performs smoothly.
- Use efficient coding techniques and optimise the website for search engines.
- Monitor the website's performance and identify any areas that can be improved.
**Qualifications**:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field desirable.
- Experience: Up to 3+ years of experience in front end development
**Technical Skills**:
- Good level of proficiency of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with various CMS
- Experience with version control systems.
**Skills**:
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
