We are looking for a Planning Team Leader to join us at our specialist solid surface production facility HWS East based in Holme on Spalding Moor, East Yorkshire Reporting to the Planning and Customer Service Team Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day team management and direction of the planning and installations team within our fast-paced environment.

A natural leader, you will review, develop and implement best practice processes and review performance statistics to ensure your team is well-directed. You will also lead the team effectively through regular communication, training and development.

**What will I be doing**:

- Overseeing the day-to-day activities of all the planning team functions including installations and planning.
- Work with the team to implement best practices in all processes and manage all production and installations issues as they arise in a timely manner Planning Team Leader Installations Planner Production Planner
- Analyse statistics or other data to determine the level of right first-time installations, production activities and report Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Ensure the planning and installations team is well-directed with clear guidelines to their own job responsibilities and provide full support in achieving these in terms of communication, training and development. This includes undertaking 1-2-1 and personal development conversations for all the team.
- Liaise with production teams, engineering teams and customer service teams to address issues and manage ongoing events that impact the supply chain.
- Reviews & develops internal processes to find efficiencies
- Managing and delivering continuous improvement projects and activities
- Work with peers to reduce number of inbound contacts

**What we are looking for**:

- Experience in a Planning Supervisory or Team Leader role is essential
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Hard Surfaces manufacturing processes including understanding of technical drawings
- Strong communication skills - both written & verbal
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
- Good IT Skills - Microsoft Office Packages and internal MRP systems
- Key attention to detail along with good numerical skills
- GCSE Level C or above in English & Maths
- Good time management & workload organisation
