Job Description

Care Home Team Leader

Hourly rate: £14.50

Day shifts, 3-4 shifts per week

Please note that our client does not offer Tier 2 sponsorship

The ideal candidate will have prior experience within a leadership role in a care home setting and possess a Level 3 in Health and Social Care. As a Team Leader you will have the responsibility of supervising the care provided to residents, leading a team of care staff, and ensuring that the care home maintains the highest standard of care.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience within a leadership role in a care home (minimum 1 year)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or above
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and foster a positive working environment
  • Strong knowledge and experience in person-centred care planning
  • All candidates need to be within 20 minutes from the care home

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of care staff, offering guidance, support, and mentorship
  • Ensure the delivery of individualized care to residents, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs
  • Monitor and administer prescribed medication while maintaining accurate records
  • Coordinate care planning and regularly review residents' care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors
  • Continuously evaluate the quality of care and lead initiatives to enhance standards within the care home
