Job Title: Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Team Leader to join our team at Oxendon House Care Home. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading our team to provide the highest standard of care to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the care team to provide personal care and support to residents, including washing, dressing, and eating.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records.
  • Write and update care plans, ensuring they are tailored to each resident's needs.
  • Promote resident choice, dignity, and independence at all times.
  • Support carers to provide high-quality care and address any concerns or issues.

Requirements:

  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ minimum level 3).
  • Minimum of one year's experience in a residential or nursing home setting.
  • Awareness of the principles of Person-Centred Care Planning.
  • Full driving license.
  • Ability to work under pressure and lead a team effectively.
