Job Title: Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Team Leader to join our team at Oxenden House Care Home. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in leading our care team to provide the highest standard of care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care and support to residents
  • Develop and implement care plans that promote independence, dignity, and respect for residents
  • Ensure that all care staff receive regular training and support to maintain their skills and knowledge
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided and make recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care services
Requirements:
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ minimum level 3)
  • Minimum of one year's experience in a residential or nursing home setting
  • Awareness of the principles of Person-Centred Care Planning
  • Full driving license
  • Satisfactory Care Character Assessment
  • Live within 20 minutes of the home
Preferred Requirements:
  • Two years' experience in a similar role in a nursing home
  • One year's experience working in a similar role in a residential or nursing home; or
  • Two years' experience in a Senior Care role in a residential or nursing home
  • One year's experience of caring for residents living with dementia
  • NVQ Level 4 in Adult Health and Social Care or above
  • Experience of managing a team
