We are seeking a motivated and committed administrator to support the Medical Education and Staffing Team providing efficient and effective administrative support for Doctors in Training across the South Yorkshire Psychiatry Training programme and other levels of medics in SHSC.
- Answering phone calls, opening and distributing post and responding to basic operational queries
- Maintaining accurate records and correspond with stakeholders as appropriate
- To provide administrative support for the trainee rotations and recruitment this includes pre employments checks for all new starters.
- To co-ordinate meetings and events by booking rooms, catering, producing agendas, taking minutes and ensuring all documents and organised and distributed
- To provide advice and support to trainees and other medics in relation to operational policies
- To progress specific tasks and projects as agreed with line manager.

- To work with the Medical Staffing Co-ordinator to co-ordinate and administrate the placements of trainee doctors throughout their training placements
- Provide basic advice and guidance on medical staffing related matters for all trainee medical staff in the
- To co-ordinate rotations and inductions of trainee doctors ensuring essential administration is completed in a timely manner
- To assist with the recruitment of trainee doctors on Trac including the following: - Pre-employment checks
- Offer letters and starter packs, ID badges
- Processing DBS checks
- Processing Occupational health referrals
- Creating and maintaining personnel files
- Creating and maintaining personnel records on the ESR system
- To maintain curriculum delivery expenses which require reimbursement
- To process expenses in a timely manner working towards monthly deadlines
- Administration and data input of records on ESR and other databases and forms
- To maintain accurate information on electronic databases for reporting purposes
- To request stock and non-stock requisitions for approval by line manager
- To develop and enhance administrative processes as agreed with line manager.
