**About the role | Teaching Assistant**

Uniform Education are collaborating with securing teaching assistant positions for a good SEND school in Cranleigh, who are proud of its high achieving, forward thinking and caring ethos. They are looking to appoint vibrant and engaging Teaching Assistants to support the development of their students and act as an inspiring role model. As a teaching assistant, you will be confident at building rapports and strive to enhance the confidence of the students you work with. You will be fully supported as a teaching assistant and work within a tremendous department.

**About the school | Teaching Assistant**

This specialist SEND school, based in Cranleigh, Surrey.

We offer academic and therapeutic provision for students aged 5-19 who experience a range of needs including autism spectrum conditions and associated behaviours, moderate learning difficulties or specific learning difficulties such as speech and language and social, emotional and communication needs.

Our provision uses an embedded therapies approach and focuses on access to the community for all, irrespective of their challenges. We are a Catholic provision with Christian principles at our core; welcoming students and staff of all faiths and of none

Set in the Surrey hills, the school is based in beautiful grounds.

We actively develop our staff with a two year TA apprenticeship qualification as part of their probation, we also encourage progression to HLTA, qualified teacher and therapist roles

Uniform Education also provide FREE training, such as team teach, manual handling, PECS and Makaton.

The roles are Monday to Friday 08:30-16:00, with the opportunity of becoming a permanent member of staff after you successfully complete 12 weeks with the school.

On-site parking if required - ideally you will need to be a driver

**Salary**: £70.00-£95.00 per day
