34hrs per week (Friday afternoon 1pm finish)
The Company
Worker Bee Tea & Coffee is a small independent company supplying to wholesale and retail products mainly to Greater Manchester. We work in a relaxed environment where results are a by-product of everyone “pulling together.”
Your role
50% of the role will include credit control, purchasing and accounting support.
50% taking customer orders and courier management.
Accounting Support - This will include managing stock purchasing and stock management. You will also work closely on maintaining good levels of credit control. Supporting the Operations Manager help identify and implement efficiencies in the business.
Orders/Telesales - Taking orders and invoicing from our regular customers, loading on our ordering system. To “up-sell” sales opportunities where possible as well as load orders onto our courier system for wholesale and ecommerce deliveries. The role will also require producing reports and identifying opportunities for the infield sales team.
Stock Management - You will be partly responsible for maintaining stock levels for all product groups and working with the purchasing department to minimise “out of stocks” whilst maintaining suitable levels needed for sales demand.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be able to show excellent organisation skills, attention to detail, flexibility in the role, with a good telephone manner and a team player. You should be proficient on Microsoft, with a working knowledge of Xero, along with a good working knowledge of stock management systems is essential.
The right person must also like variety in their role and think on their feet. This is an office-based position based in Edgeley (South Manchester).
What you'll get in return
Salary of £23,000 - £26,000k for 34hrs per week. We offer 3% pension contribution, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays for full time role, company related bonus and free tea, coffee, and hot chocolate.
May consider a job share on 16 to 20 hours per week.
