Experienced Accounts Clerk

Job Description:
We are recruiting an experienced graduate or similar type of person to work within our Accounts Department.
You will be working within a small, dynamic team at our Hail Weston headquarters, near St Neots. Here, you will work on all aspects of accounting with some junior clerical staff reporting to you within a modern, computerised, fast-moving environment.
The work is varied and will include,
- Data entry into our computerised accounts management systems.
- Order processing, invoice creation
- Creating, chasing in & processing customer maintenance agreements
- Checking and processing of works orders
- Confirmation of bank statements, bank reconciliation and credit card receipts
- Credit control, chasing customers for payment
- Timesheet processing and expenses payment
- Processing purchase invoices/credit notes, checking against purchase orders and entry into thepPurchase Ledger.
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Management of company vehicles
- Audit work such as stock checks
- Daily posting of cash/payments
- Dealing with customer accounts queries
- Nominal Ledger entry and production of Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss statements.
- Other adhoc accounts, administration and audit functions as necessary
Full training on our computer systems and method of operation will be given. This position is suitable for an experienced, dynamic accounts clerk who would now like to take on a wider role.

The Opportunity:
This is a brilliant opportunity for a person who now wishes to make a difference and develop their accounting skills within our team. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:30 with 1 hour for lunch.
The Reward:
Salary is between £27,000 and £30,000 p.a. depending upon previous experience and ability + phone and possible car. Company pension scheme available. Additional annual leave is achievable.
