Our client is an established Property Development expert with over 30 years’ experience in the field. Based in the midlands they specialize in the public and social housing sector all over the UK. Priding themselves on the more traditional looking homes. Starting out as a bricklaying company they have developed and now even offer a teaching academy for new bricklayers. This is a great opportunity to join a well established firm who are always looking to create further opportunities for anyone willing to get into the trade.

**The Role**

We are looking for a Buyer to join a growing team. Experience in buying building material is needed for this role. If you have experience in social housing, then that will be a benefit however it’s not essential. You must be self-motivated and be able to communicate clearly as you will be attending functions and networks to build relationships with suppliers and contractors. So you must have good negotiating experience. If you have the ability to take off drawings and understand building plans, this will give you a huge benefit. You will be based in their Derby office with rare occasions when site visits are required. If you are required to visit a site, your fuel expenses will be paid.
