Hays Accountancy & Finance are partnering with a leading group to recruit for a dynamic and experienced Group Credit Controller. Based in their Wotton-Under-Edge, Gloucestershire office, this position will offer remote/office hybrid working (2 days in the office,3 days remote), flexible working hours and a competitive benefits scheme. Reporting into Group Financial Controller this is a varied and hands-on permanent sole Credit Control role, taking responsible for all credit processes and reporting within the Group,and working closely with the wider finance team.
Your new role
Your key duties will involve analysis of direct customer and end-user credit risk reports including making recommendations of maximum credit exposure limits. Setting up new customer accounts, posting/allocation of sales ledger receipts, issuing customer statements,production/circulation of weekly aged debt reports, reviewing billing schedules and liaising with the wider team to ensure all sales invoices are raised. You will reconcile the sales ledger control account, drive the monthly intercompany balances reconciliationprocess, develop/maintain group credit control processes, and keep in contact with customers throughout the invoicing process. You will support in leading weekly meetings with operational staff to discuss status of outstanding customer invoices, report/drivecustomer collections across the group, and record progress of cash collections received through litigation. You will support the Group Financial Controller and wider finance team in ad-hoc duties/projects as the business continues to grow further.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this unique Group Credit Controller position you will need experience within a similar role, excellent communication skills to build positive relationships and work collaboratively across all levels of the business. Be an effective problemsolver with strong planning and analytical skills, along with flexible/adaptable to work within a fast-paced environment. You will be able to manage your own workload to meet deadlines, have key MS excel skills and be trained in a range of credit/financialsystems. It would be advantageous but not essential, if you have achieved or are working towards a qualification from the Institute of Credit Management, and have worked with Microsoft D365, and/or AX financial systems.
What you'll get in return
This hands-on and permanent Group Credit Controller role is offering a salary up to £32,000 per annum (dependable on experience) based in Wotton-Under-Edge, Gloucestershire with remote/office hybrid working (two days in the office, three days remote), flexibleworking hours, health cash plan, contributed pension scheme, holiday purchase scheme and more.
