About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multilingual Credit Controller to join our team at French Selection. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for driving improvements in free cash flow and operational performance, with a focus on optimizing accounts receivable and credit processes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers and account teams to set optimal credit terms and build strong client relationships while reducing bad debt risk.
  • Effectively utilize and analyze data to assess credit risks and formulate proactive strategies that are fully aligned with company goals.
  • Improve and strengthen our credit strategy by implementing industry best practices.
  • Work closely with internal and external teams, including Controllers, Treasury, Sales, Service Delivery Managers, and Accounts Receivable teams.
  • Ensure compliance with collection activities and proactively resolve any related issues.
Requirements
  • Fluent in French and German (spoken and written).
  • Experience in B2B Credit Control is a must.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
  • Understanding of Incoterms and related payment vehicles, including Letter of Credit and Cash Against Documents (CAD).
  • Familiarity with financial reporting sources such as D&B, Graydon, or Credit Risk Monitor.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and articulate.
  • Driven, motivated and prepared to maximize the opportunity.
