Credit Controller
- Ashton-Under-Lyne Immediate Start

**About Our Client**:
A rare opportunity has arisen with a global logistics business in Ashton due to continued growth and expansion for a Credit Controller to join their team. This company are a market leader in their sector and offer an excellent work environment with opportunities for career progression.

The Credit Controller role is initially a temporary assignment which could be extended and will be full time office based in Ashton. Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager Key responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining and building relationships with customers.
- To undertake effective collection and obtain earliest possible settlement accounts to improve cash flow and minimise bad debt exposure.
- Account Reconciliations
- Responsible for circa 800 Key Accounts
- Deal with customer enquiries and able to identify & manage the need for credit notes
- Liaising with internal departments to resolve queries.
- Action and monitor all debtors.
- Be able to produce and manipulate Excel workbooks to intermediate level.
- Daily / Weekly analysis of all New Accounts open for investigations
- Monitoring credit alerts
- Sending statements & copy invoices where requested.
- Monitoring billing cycles and ensuring customers receive data
- Ensure accounts on stop / hold are monitored and dealt with promptly.

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Have previous experience in Credit Control
- Be available to consider a temporary role initially
- Be able to commute to Ashton-Under Lyne office
- Have experience of using Formula's on MS Excel
