**Finance Administrator (Temp)**

Department: Finance

Location: Working from home with ad-hoc meetings at a company location (Rayleigh, Essex)

Contract Type: Temporary

Hours of Work: 40 hours p/w (Mon - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm)

**Salary**: £21,000 - £23,000.00 per annum

**Purpose of the Job**:
This is a support role to the Finance department with various administrative duties.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Finance Department Procedures
- Supporting the day-to-day duties of the Finance Team
- Carry out appropriate administrative tasks
- Ensure timely responses to queries received from suppliers and staff
- Liaising with utility providers/Local authorities for resolution
- Keeping up to date records of properties utilities correspondence
- Informing Field staff of booked appointments
- To compile Excel reports, documents and information required by Manager
- Filling /Scanning in office post

**Administration for the Finance Department**
- To provide admin cover as agreed with the Finance Manager when necessary.

**Communication and Liaison**
- Communicate with external suppliers and customers as required
- Liaise closely with line manager, team members and other teams
- Ensure all records are maintained and kept up to date according to company policies and procedures
- Be responsive to external and internal communications
- To ensure internal audit and compliance criteria are met and that all activities conform to agreed company systems, policies and procedures.
- Any other duties within the scope of responsibility and ability, as required, inclusive of providing similar support to any other local company projects or departments.

**Team working**
- Liaise regularly with line manager and team members
- Helping/providing cover for other team members as required
- Attending team and other staff meetings
- Supporting new team members and provide on-the-job training
- Provide cover for other staff as agreed by line manager

**Training and development**
- Monitor own work levels, progress and development
- Undertake all core training and development programmes as required
- Undertake relevant learning according to agreed Personal Development Plan

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
