Clinical Coder and Qof Administrator

**About the Role**:
Colchester Medical Practice is looking to appoint a full-time (37 hours), permanent clinical coder and QOF administrator, to join our experienced and expanding coding/QOF team.
You will be based at Castle Gardens Medical Centre and your hours must be worked flexibly over 5 days Monday to Friday.
Your main duties and areas of responsibility will include:
- Coding clinical documents accurately and within a 48 hour timescale
- Forwarding clinical documents to clinicians following the practice protocol
- Carrying out clinical document follow-up actions following the practice protocol
- Quality Outcomes Framework (QOF) - you will be responsible for allocated QOF clinical indicators to achieve targets for the practice
The qualities we are looking for:
- A strong attention to detail, ability to work to a high standard and at a fast pace
- Ability to manage own workload, but will have the support of the coding/QOF team and line manager
- A team player, flexible and able to cover when coders on annual leave or sick
