**The role**:
The Smart Internet Lab is one of the UK’s most renowned Information and Communications Technology (ICT) research centres which addresses grand societal and industrial challenges.

This role will provide operational and administrative support to the two research projects in the Smart Internet Lab - ORANOS and PROTEUS - funded by Department of Science, Innovation and Technology (formerly Department of Culture, Media and Sports), ensuring their successful delivery. ORANOS and PROTEUS are existing projects, which are being extended until March 2024.

**What will you be doing?**:
Working closely with the Principal Investigator of the two projects, as well as other academics and researchers involved in the projects, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing operational and administrative support needed for the successful delivery of the two projects. Tasks include:

- Management and delivery of work plans
- Monitoring of budgets
- Producing documents and reports
- Organising events and meetings
- Day-to-day administration related to the projects
- Act as a primary point of contact for the projects, liaising with colleagues internally to the University and with external stakeholders, including industry partners and funding agencies

We are seeking a highly motivated and resilient individual to join our team.

- Demonstrable experience providing project management support, including monitoring of budgets.
- Ability to prioritise effectively and manage your own workload.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to deal with a wide range of people.

Experience of supporting government-funded projects is desirable, but not essential.

The post is being offered on a part-time basis, at 0.5 Full-time Equivalent (FTE), until 31 March 2024, when the projects are due to end.
