**The role**:
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Quantum Engineering Technology Labs (QET Labs) Research Centre within the Bristol Quantum Information Institute as a Research Project Coordinator. This is an important and varied role within our vibrant and busy Centre, and you will be responsible for the day-to-day project coordination of multiple major research grants in our portfolio, as well as supporting external communications for the Institute.

The role will involve managing, coordinating and advising on all administrative aspects of various research projects, in particular budgets and finances, and working closely with the internal research teams and external partners. The Research Project Coordinator will also work across the wider Bristol Quantum Information Institute (of which QET Labs is a part), supporting communications through relevant channels, such as website, social media, and supporting events relevant to internal and external partners and stakeholders.

QET Labs is a world-leading Research Centre of over 100 academics, researchers, staff and students that encompasses quantum-related activities spanning research, training and enterprise. Further information can be found on our QET Labs website.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Providing effective day-to-day project coordination of the Centre’s major multiple research grants, including work plans and reports, monitoring budgets, communication (internal & external) and relationship management.
- Acting as primary point of contact for the relevant projects, including with internal and external stakeholders.
- You will work closely with academics and researchers, and with the QET Labs Centre Manager as part of a larger operations team. This will include developing and managing relationships with stakeholders in the Bristol Quantum Information Institute, external partners, academic staff and the student community to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Coordinating and delivering external communications through relevant channels, including digital communications and social media.
- You have proven administrative and project experience in a busy, complex organisation, including strong planning and organisational skills.
- You have the ability to manage information and data, including budgets, with attention to detail.
- You have experience liaising with multiple stakeholders across different teams to drive forward the delivery of projects, resources or events, and are able to maintain effective working relationships at various levels.
- You have experience in supporting external communications, such as websites and social media.
- You are proactive, can manage your own workload and work with a high degree of autonomy.
