To ensure the Trust meets its requirements under Data Protection Legislation with regards to Confidentiality, Accuracy and Availability.

Ensure that Information Flows and use of the Information Sharing Gateway is undertaken throughout WWL. Develop staff training and awareness sessions, review and update the Trust’s Standard Operating Procedures and Policies.

Lead on the liaison with managers and staff across the Trust to ensure that Corporate Records Management policies and procedures are developed and implemented as per national legislation and regulation.

To ensure the Trust meets its requirements under the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act 2000 and Environmental Information Regulations 2004.

Develop staff training and awareness sessions, review the Trust’s Publication Scheme and oversee the Freedom of Information request handling using the Datix RFI module to ensure compliance with the statutory time frame.

Ensure the Trust website has relevant, up to date and accurate information as identified in the Publication Scheme.

The Trust is implementing a proactive auditing software package and this post will be assisting in the Trust wide roll out of this software, including extracting and analysing reports and providing awareness and training across the Trust

We require an knowledgeable, highly motivated and well organised individual to work in this busy and dynamic environment.

A previous working knowledge and experience in Data Protection, Information Governance and interest in the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation and DP 2018 will all be essential criteria for any applicant.
