Temporary Administrator

VSA is Aberdeen's oldest not for profit social care organisation. The work that we do directly changes the lives of vulnerable children and adults living across the North East of Scotland.
For over 150 years we have been at the forefront of changing vulnerable children and adults' lives for the better. With significant changes happening in the social care sector over the next few years we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join and support our teams.
You will join an enthusiastic staff team and will possess the ability to multi-task and work to high standards.
**Hours: 35 hours per week**
**Rota: (work pattern to be discussed at interview)**
**Rate: £10.90 per hour**
**Location: Castle Street, Aberdeen**

**Main Duties/Responsibilities**:
- Word processing material of a wide and varied nature, e.g. typing reports.
- Setting up tracking systems to ensure that information recording and support systems operate accurately and efficiently.
- Ensuring that information recording systems, including manual and electronic files and Excel spreadsheets are accurately maintained and updated.
- Recording and processing expenses and petty cash documentation.
- Photocopying, collating and distributing material as required; assisting staff when necessary in the efficient use of the photocopier.
- Collating information for reporting purposes and supporting to produce and distribute service newsletter
- Processing invoices according to agreed procedures for authorization and payment and checking on purchase order documentation.
- Ordering stationery, ensuring satisfactory stock levels are maintained.
- Carrying out telephone duties, taking calls and delivering messages accurately as and when required.
- Undertake any other duties which may arise provided they are within the post-holders capabilities
**Experience**:

- Skilled and experienced in the use of Microsoft Office.
- Well developed word processing/typing skills.
**Desirable**:
- Experience of working in a residential care environment.
- Auditing skills
