**Production Coordinator**

**Role Summary **The Production Coordinator will work as part of the Procurement and Project Management Team to provide support in substation structure procurement activities in Kelvin Power which will support the effective running of the business unit (BU). The procurement team are required to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with all suppliers and play a key role in ensuring all commercial activities in this area is compliant with our ISO process. They will possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, have strong commercial awareness, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Objectives of the Role**
- Provides support in ensuring that the rules, principles and the internal control requirements of the Company and Group are met
- Ensure the Procurement function meets all its financial reporting obligations
- Ensuring supplier engagement events (invitation to tender) are arranged and is accountable for negotiations at different stages (i.e. BAFO)

**Responsibilities and Accountabilities**

**Procurement Management**
- collaborate with Project Management & Procurement manager and structure design team to ascertain the timeline, budget and deadlines for each of our projects
- assist the procurement manager with sourcing all the information and design samples necessary to complete the detailed specification document
- responsible for setting up the procurement schedule and budget
- organize the purchasing schedule, liaising with the team to ensure all project milestones are reached
- working closely with the suppliers and accountant to raise all invoices
- filing all documentation in an orderly manner and record all payments made with accuracy
- liaise with suppliers ensuring all lead times are met and all information on orders accurately noted
- administrate and track all orders in the purchase process providing timely updates to project manager and project design team
- ability to speak to suppliers in a clear and professional manner
- maintain and update samples library and clearly label all project boxes

**Administration & Other**
- Participate in the administration of the BU and the team
- Involvement in ad-hoc projects that deliver real improvements in the effective management of the BU
- Reception cover as and when required
- Live the values of the group.

**Communication**

Outstanding oral and written communication skills are imperative for this role. The person will need to be a confident communicator, across all levels both internally and externally Friendly and approachable manner, able to build and sustain relationships based on trust at all levels

**Quality and Accuracy**
- An eye for detail, focused on quality and accuracy, within a face paced environment, without compromising deadlines.
- Ability to use sound judgement to ensure the appropriate messages are delivered

**Financial**
- Strong financial skills applied in a project costing context
- Ability to analyse and interpret variances
- Good knowledge of basic accounting functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Timesheets
- Cash Management

**IT**

Strong IT skills in particular, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. - Knowledge of Oracle preferable

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
