**REPORTS TO**:Supply Chain Supervisor

**LOCATION**:York, UK

**SALARY**:£22,559-23,506 pa full time, dependent on experience & skills 20 Days Annual Holiday (increasing by 1 day for every full years’ service to a maximum of 25) plus 8 Bank Holidays

**BACKGROUND TO DGP INTELSIUS**

DGP Intelsius specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of temperature-controlled packaging and regulatory-compliant sample transport solutions.

Our goal is to be recognised as a global leader, providing high quality environmentally safe, temperature-controlled and sample transport solutions to clients worldwide. On a day-to-day basis, our purpose is simple: To assure our customers’ product and sample integrity, with mínimal impact on the environment.

**MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE**:
To accurately process sales orders and to deal with customer enquiries in order to ensure that sales targets are achieved and to deliver a high quality, reputable customer experience. Liaise with planning, purchasing and operations to facilitate on time and in full customer deliveries.

**RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Process orders in an efficient and accurate manner on the SAGE 50 IT system to agreed timescales
- Take ownership of tailored administrative processes for specific customer accounts
- Liaise with internal departments to manage the smooth transaction of all sales orders, from order receipt to final delivery
- Form an understanding of our customers business and promote relevant solutions
- Perform office administration tasks as directed
- Provide cover to other functions for holiday and absence cover, including planning and logistics
- Support the External Sales Team to deliver a best in class customer experience
- Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated people in the business

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE**
- Desire to succeed in a sales focused organisation
- Must be able to accurately follow all company processes and procedures
- Knowledge of administrative procedures
- Attention to detail and accuracy essential
- Computer literate - Experience of Microsoft Office packages
- A positive, focused individual who is able to work in collaboration with other people internally and externally with a polite, confident and friendly manner
- Good general education background with at least 5 GCSE’s including English and Maths
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written

**PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE**
- Familiarity with SAGE 50 or other order processing software
- Experience and confidence with interacting with customers by telephone
- Knowledge of processing Business to Business Sales
- Initiative and desire to improve situations, systems and processes
- Adaptability
- Be able to work on own initiative
- To enjoy working within a target-driven team environment

**WORKING HOURS**
- 09.00 - 17.30, Monday to Friday
- Some flexibility in total hours or working pattern may be available depending upon individual circumstances & business needs
