**Hours of work**: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday 07-00 - 15.30 ) However flexibility to business needs required.

**Main purpose of job**:
Administration of and communication directly with the Purchasing & Supply Chain department and Depot General Manager for the supply and demand of stock items. Ensuring strict management of stock levels and replenishment ensuring zero impact on Vegetarian Express customers

To administer rigorous stock count processes working collaboratively with the Purchasing and Warehouse teams.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring that the day to management of the stock and inventory levels are maintained and meet customer demand.
- Ultimately, you will increase profitability and effectiveness by maintaining optimal stock levels ensuring stock rotation processes are followed.
- Communication with the purchasing team is essential enabling a smooth transition of goods inbound and outbound. Working collaboratively with the Supply Chain and Logistics Manager and Warehouse Team.
- Ensure that all driver returns are logged and WMS updated accordingly, working alongside the Transport Operation Planner and Warehouse Manager to obtain accurate driver information.
- Administer daily stock counts and rotational issues and discuss with warehouse team and buyer
- Keep updated inventory records (including daily shipments)
- Administering short dated stock preventing waste of product. Discuss and administer with the Depot General manager communication to the sales team on short dated products communicating with the buying team.
- Ensure that the goods in process is robust and followed with the timely receipting of goods in on to WMS.
- Work with the warehouse team to ensuring any stocks coming up to their saleable shelf life are transferred to wigig codes and sales team updated.
- Administer stock levels daily of the bulk and split products including products that are bagged down in the repack room.
- Administer and co-ordinate communication with the sales teams in particular around out of stocks.
- Ensuring WMS System stock levels match SAGE stock levels and Invoice’s match goods booked in.

**Key Skills required**:

- Proven work experience as a Stock Administrator, or a similar role in the past
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures
- Working knowledge of inventory management administration
- Excellent organization communication skills.
- Stock management administration experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and other commonly used office packages
- Strong IT and analytical skills
- Clear ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads
- Ability to problem solve and engage with and update processes
