An exciting opportunity has arisen to be a key member of the Conference and Events Sales and Planning Team, part of a thriving and proactive events and sales office. You will be instrumental in assisting the team to deliver a wide range of high quality events for a variety of external customers, as well as enquiry handling, co-ordinating events & providing customers with a high level of pre-event services.

You will have experience in detailed event coordination of conferences, weddings and functions, ideally with enquiry handling or account coordination/management experience. You will demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, have great telephone etiquette and confident working with customers both on the telephone and face to face. You will have the ability to work in a target orientated environment and have a good working knowledge of MS Office programmes (Excel, Word and Outlook). Experience of working with a hotel, the ability to work to tight deadlines and work productively in a team are essential.

This role is 5 out of 7 (including weekends and bank holidays), with shifts between 0700-2300 and will include 2-3 Duty Manger shifts per week.
