As part of our growth plans, Debt Recovery Plus are looking are looking to strengthen our Appeals Handling team based from offices in Manchester (Tameside). We are part of the Bristow & Sutor Group - employing over 490 people, in debt recovery, throughout the UK.

We are now looking for an Appeals Handler to join our busy team. This Role will be a hybrid position.

**Position**:
**Key elements of the role will include**:

- The role involves working within our Appeals Team handling and responding to written appeals.
- Analysing case by case data, liaising with clients and collating the relevant written response.
- You will also operate a customer service phone line to provide advice on how to appeal and give updates on existing appeals/outcomes.

**Requirements**:
**To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate**:

- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to self-motivate and manage your own workload.
- Good problem solving, critical thinking, reasoning and decision-making skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Speed of thought and decision making.
- Computer experience - a good understanding of outlook, excel and word is required.

**The position offers a salary of £20,000.**

Please note, this is a full-time, permanent role Monday - Friday (Shifts flexible between 8am - 5pm)

Training will be provided - requested to work 9am to 5pm during the training period.

**The successful applicant would be required to undertake a DBS and CCJ check before an offer of employment is made.
