Job description

The Talent Set are delighted to be partnering with a health charity to find them an Events Assistant for a 2 month contract role with possibility of extension.

You’ll play an active role to support their busy fundraising events team while providing general administration including dealing with income enquiries and events management support to deliver a wide range of event activity across the portfolio.
**Key responsibilities include**:

- Assist the Head of Events to plan, manage and develop fundraising events
- Supporting the Events team with event specific administration tasks such as, sending out high quality thank you correspondences to supporters and researching venues
- Assist and work with the Events team to develop promotional materials to support event activity
- Working with data management systems including Raiser’s Edge and Events Management System to maintain accurate records of supporter activity
- Ability to develop knowledge of the charity sector’s fundraising events market

**Person specification**:

- A keen interest in events management, particularly fundraising events
- Ability to multitask in a busy team environment, able to prioritise your own workload and using initiative to resolve and respond to requests
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with a range of people
- Ability to problem solve
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels providing clear information, support and advice
- Enthusiasm, willingness to learn and a proactive attitude
- Knowledge of digital tools such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Google/Gmail

**What's on offer**:
This role is a 2 month contract role with potential to extent paying a day rate of £90 PAYE They offer a flexible working policy going into the central London office 3 days a week.
