Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Event Assistant to join our team. As an Event Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning and execution of various events. Your excellent communication and organisational skills, along with your ability to provide exceptional guest services, will contribute to the success of our events.

**Duties**:

- Assist with event planning and coordination, including venue selection, vendor management, and logistics
- Collaborate with the event team to develop event timelines and schedules
- Coordinate event setup and teardown, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available
- Assist with guest registration and check-in processes
- Provide exceptional customer service to event attendees, addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Support event marketing efforts, including social media promotion and distribution of promotional materials
- Assist with fundraising activities during events
- Upsell event merchandise or additional services to guests

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in event planning or hospitality is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Proficient in time management to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders
- Knowledge of fundraising strategies is a plus
- Familiarity with restaurant, hotel, or hospitality industry is beneficial
