Looking for a Customer Service Advisor based in Chorley to join a successful team in the banking industry on the high street. This is a pivotal role to provide outstanding customer service for new and existing members, proactively identifying customer needs and explaining the benefits of our products and services they have to offer. The role of a banking customer advisor will be to help all customers with any queries they have or if they're having any financial problems and need guidance.

**There are 2 positions available**:
**X Full-time role Monday - Friday 8.45 am -5.15 pm and every other Saturday 8.45 am -12.15pm**

**X1 Part-time role - Monday to Friday 4/5 Per week (flexible hours) every other Saturday 8.45 am-12.15 pm**

**Duties**:

- Operate one or more till positions in accordance with procedures taking full responsibility for all monies held in the till.
- Complete all 1:1 paperwork in a timely manner and take ownership of personal development with continuous improvement.
- Keep up to date with key communications and changes to products, services, and processes by participating in training activities and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Carry out such other duties, which are consistent with the nature, responsibilities, and expectations of the position.
- Adhere to professional appearance and courtesy standards.
- Ensure an excellent customer experience by adopting a customer-first mentality

Skills required:

- Experience working in a customer service environment.
- 5 GCSE at Grade C or above including Maths and English or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Experience with Microsoft packages including Word & excel.
- Ability to independently manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Cash handling and ability to balance a till.
- Strong administrative skills.

Salary is £22,000 increasing to £23000 + annual bonus

Every Saturday you work, you accrue 1 extra days of holiday
