- **About the role**:_

We are looking for a generalist Marketing Coordinator to cover a maternity cover on a 12-month fixed term contract.

This is a pivotal role in the Pet department, ensuring that priorities are managed effectively, on time and in line with business expectations and requirements. You will take the lead on projects, campaigns and creative and help the team deliver on time.

We place great importance on having a 'can-do’, positive attitude within our Marketing Team and are looking for people who share in our values and can demonstrate their ability to maintain such an attitude in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

**Your main responsibilities**:

- Planning and implementing the departments marketing activities
- Working closely with the trade and digital marketing teams on campaigns and communications
- Work collaboratively with the trading team and suppliers to support activations
- Producing and managing marketing collateral
- Writing marketing copy for comms
- Upload material to the websites, online libraries, and marketing department databases
- Assist with customer queries
- Manage various critical paths and timelines for the promotions and other marketing projects that require a print output
- Create critical paths and timelines for stakeholders - ensuring work is delivered on time to maximise print cost efficiencies
- Briefing and managing the agencies and printers to ensure all artwork is created and delivered on time and to a high standard
- Responsible for the design of brochures, POS, leaflets and all other marketing materials
- Oversee the management of the image bank, providing support to our trading team on marketing content with suppliers and partners
- Lead the planning of key NPD launches, working closely with category teams and suppliers.
- Manage the internal/ external approval process of trade marketing materials.
- Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across the teams.
- Develop and deliver training to internal stakeholders, making them passionate brand ambassadors

**About You**:

- Experience working within a similar role preferably within a fast paced environment
- Ability to display enthusiasm, creativity, resourcefulness with a meticulous eye for detail
- Ability to establish good working relationships with internal and external partners
- A sound knowledge of using Excel, Word and PowerPoint and experience of using Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Acrobat Pro software would be advantageous
- Ability to work effectively to deadlines
- A team player and be able to onboard tasks efficiently
- Demonstrates a strong sense of individual accountability
- Tenacity and ambition to take ownership and make a difference
- Assertive, confident, detail oriented, highly organised and can manage multiple projects
- Highly articulate individual with excellent written and communications and presentation skills
- Experience of digital publishing using CMS
- Experience in designing, implementing, and managing digital marketing campaigns
