Empire is a Leading supplier of Professional Security & Commercial Cleaning services in the UK.

We're looking for a computer systems savvy, accounts administrator/bookkeeper to join our rapidly growing business.

We require someone on a part time basis initially, working 3 days per week. Preferably consecutive days. We use Xero as a system for accounting.

Experience of Xero is essential.

We're looking for someone who is dynamic, can work with their own initiative, and establish their own processes to achieve the outputs required.

Main duties will include:

- Inputting purchase invoices and generating sales invoices
- Maintaining accounts, verifying a posting transactions
- Issuing statements and chasing payments from customers (Credit Control)
- Balancing accounts/ reconciling payments in and out of the bank with Xero
- Issuing Proof of work where needed alongside invoices
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and banking contacts
- Working with third party accountants to prepare VAT returns
- Running reports
- Using online banking to process payment/ confirm payment receipts

Role is based at our head office 30 Parkes Street, Brierley Hill, West Midlands, DY5 3DZ
