Caledonian Sleepers Limited have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance and Facilities Coordinator to join the existing team.

The purpose of the role is to support the Contract Compliance Lead (CCL) in ensuring Caledonian Sleeper Ltd delivers the Caledonian Sleeper Ltd business requirements and objectives in full compliance with client, contractual, industry, regulatory and organisational management system requirements.

**Main Accountabilities**:

- Support Contract Compliance Lead in providing assurance against a range of requirements, including:

- Tracking the completion of actions arising from several business processes including zero harm engagement tour, planned general inspection and fire risk assessment.
- Monitoring key supplier contract KPI compliance.
- Engaging with external audit and assurance providers, including IT Security Health Check suppliers, to scope test plans and assist stakeholders to interpret the results of tests and audits, supporting the implementation of any remedial actions.
- Information security assurance activities.
- Tracking planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance in pursuit of the appropriate management of all relevant Caledonian Sleepers off-train assets and facilities, facilitating and checking work undertaken, as required.
- Deputise for Contract Compliance Lead as and when required.
- Maintain asset management Share Point site and other information databases relating to supplier and contractor information and maintenance costs.
- Support Contract Compliance Lead in preparing for and conducting reviews of third-party suppliers and contractors providing services for our off-train assets and facilities.
- Maintenance of Risk Register through facilitation of risk reviews, bow-tie events, and other Risk Management activities.
- Supporting Contract Compliance Lead and stakeholders in tracking risk management actions.
- Facilitating and recording outcomes from Business Continuity events including Business Impact Assessments, Business Continuity Plan reviews and exercising activities including supplier reviews.
- Support Senior Management Team in developing Business Continuity Plan.
- Participate in promoting information security and data protection compliance awareness.
- Maintain relevant documentation relating to the role including the development and review of relevant local operating procedures.

**What you’ll need to do the role**:

- Demonstrates good judgment and the ability to effectively manage relationships - internally and externally.
- Knowledge of relevant Fire Safety and Health and Safety legislation and requirements applicable to the role, particularly around FM requirements, for example, EICR, emergency lighting and water hygiene services.
- Committed to the highest ethical and professional standards.
- Initiative-taker with an ability to work collaboratively, influence and drive change.
- High diligence and excellent analytical skills.
- Effective communicator with the ability to articulate their message to influence at all levels.
- Service orientated, can-do approach; with an ability to drive excellent standards of customer satisfaction.

**Desirable**
- Recognised relevant qualification.
- Experience in facilities management.
- Experience in working with a highly regulated and compliant environment.
- Experience in multisite operations.
