Entry-level Account Executive

If so, this may be the role for you Cogent has a new opportunity for a life sciences graduate to join our team as an entry-level account executive, supporting the delivery of projects on fast-moving accounts, in exciting therapy areas.
**The role**
Cogent is a full-service healthcare communications agency; we work in partnership with pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients to help them communicate across the whole spectrum of their services, be that publications, medical affairs, or marketing. Our team is committed to adopting a forward-thinking approach and exploring novel methods of connecting with clinicians, patients and internal teams within the pharmaceutical companies.
This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious individual to join our thriving team and develop their career within a nurturing environment where no career path is the same. The role will involve managing multiple and varied projects, building strong relationships with various stakeholders (internal teams such as design and digital, as well as clients and external experts), and financial management and tracking.
**Key responsibilities**
- Collaborating effectively with scientific, client-services, digital and design colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality work from briefing to delivery
- Day-to-day liaison with clients and medical experts to communicate project deliverables
- Working with commercial team members to maintain the financial administration of projects, including forecasting, invoicing and budget reporting to clients
- Understanding our clients’ challenges and actively contributing to support the recommendation of targeted solutions to the client
**What you’ll need**
- A degree-level qualification, as well as an interest in science communication in the pharmaceutical landscape
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects to the agreed deadlines
- An approachable attitude to work flexibly with both client teams and external experts
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and an exceptional eye for detail
- An eagerness to learn and receive feedback as part of your development process
- An enterprising attitude with a willingness to contribute to our ‘be braver’ culture
