**Business Administrator**

The role will be based in our Carlisle head office with the flexibility of hybrid working following the successful completion of your probation period.

As a Business Administrator reporting to our Bid Manager, your duties will include:

- Client portal administration including co-ordinating document management, monitoring client systems and compiling/uploading bid submissions.
- Supporting tender submissions by answering standard client questions and completing mandatory documents.
- Importing and exporting data from estimating software to client systems.
- Working with managers to input data and update monthly business plans.
- Monitoring internal and external sources to update SharePoint databases.
- General administrative duties

**Essential skills**
- Excellent attention to detail
- Team player - ability to build rapport and relationships.
- Excellent IT skills (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel)
- Strong command of written English
- Methodical with strong organisational and scheduling skills
- Self-starter
- Able to work in high pressure environment
- Inquisitive, thorough, and precise
- Organised, logical and able to work efficiently to strict deadlines

**Desirable**
- Previous administrative office experience
- Working knowledge of MS PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Ability to analyse data and report anomalies.
