JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
As Optical support specialist, you will be providing support to Optical Accounts, managing orders execution, logistics, supply chain requirements and after sales enquiries; acting as the main contact between commercial team, planning, logistics and the customers.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:

- responsibility for the management of relationships between accounts and Luxottica North Europe Head Office, by communicating clearly and concisely performance objectives and ensuring both parties are well informed of activity and business;

- responsibility for the management of the critical path from the initial placing of an order to the final delivering into the customer’s warehouse; liaising with colleagues in Italy’s planning and logistics departments in order to effectively manage customers’ orders. - working closely with other departments; exchanging vital information on orders, deliveries and finance queries;
- preparing reports on sell out and sell in, brands and clients performance, etc. using different tools (SAP or/and Excel );
- seeking and continuously developing knowledge of competitor activity and local market conditions, with the purpose of making appropriate and innovative recommendations to drive the business forward;
- liaising with Masterdata team to ensure client data is up to date with business requirements and client specific requirements
- working as part of a team delivering excellent results and working within the Luxottica core characteristics;
- attending Supply Chain and occasional selection meetings with customers;
- Coordinating accounting actions: raising of credit notes: returns, shortages, missing discounts, etc.

TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE
- have exceptional communication skills;

- have excellent analytical skills;
- have demonstrable and strong business acumen;
- be highly organised with the ability to adapt quickly to strategic change;

- be a self-starter who takes the initiative;
- handle pressure with confidence and ease;
- strong computer and database handling skills (knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word are MUST HAVE);
- be flexible to travel e.g. to Luxottica days in Italy to build relationships with clients and assist the Key Account manager in the selection process’
- have customer service experience;
- have administrative skills.

Fluent written and spoken English Other Nordic languages desirable

INTERVIEW STEPS:
First interview with Optical Support Team Leader and the Operations Manager, Depending on the case, potential 2nd interview.
