**About Our Client**:
Our client is a well established FMCG business with a great reputation within the industry. They are looking for a HR Advisor to join the team on a permanent basis as they are experiencing a busy period of growth.

**The Duties for the HR Advisor include**:

- Preparation of employment offer packs, including requesting references and administering the employee start and leave processes: this includes inductions and exit interview process
- Monitoring, recording and reporting of holidays, absences and time-keeping, and reporting to line management when thresholds are met
- Managing the appraisal process and ensuring that management are aware of relevant appraisals and performance reviews for their staff. Ensure that accurate records of agreed targets and milestones are maintained
- Ensure that all policies, procedures and processes are adhered to throughout the HR function across the group
- Provide continuous training and development to Managers along with advice on ad hoc personnel issues
- Manage, conduct and advise Managers on disciplinary processes + handling of complaints and grievance procedures
- Maintain and improve company HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with any employment law changes
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to people activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations and site visits)
- Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys, consultation process etc and take minutes)
- Regular review of internal system to ensure 100% compliance to minimise risk to the business
- Enhancement of colleague engagement; support, develop and encourage a positive company culture and safe working environment within stores

**The Successful Applicant**:
**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role with a small business (50 or more staff)
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office experience including; Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of HR and employment law with experience in recruitment and retention
- Excellent communication skills, coupled with strong organisation and administrative skills
- Live within 30 minutes travelling time of the store and hold a full UK driving licence
- Qualified and / or working towards CIPD qualifications
