Sustainability Consultant

**The role**

NuPlanet Sustainable Solutions are looking for an experienced sustainability consultant to join our friendly team in Hove. We work with housing associations, local authorities, developers, house builders and private clients on residential and commercial projects and offer a range of energy efficient and sustainable design services to complement our holistic approach helping our clients reduce carbon emissions and spiralling running costs in new & existing buildings.

This is a permanent full-time position which will be office based initially with opportunities for a flexible hybrid working arrangement after completion of your probation period.

Initially you will be supporting a growing number of sustainability projects and liaising directly with client, design and construction teams.
- A minimum of 2 Years’ energy assessment experience (SAP and/or SBEM)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required
- Overheating assessments using DesignBuilder (desirable)
- A genuine interest and enthusiasm for sustainability and retrofit
- Highly numerate and literate with excellent IT skills
- Team player with the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Excellent attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Proactive and motivated
- Full UK/EU driving license

**Additional desirable skills**:

- PHPP, DesignPH, IESVE
- CIBSE Low Carbon Consultant

**Your role will include but is not limited to**:

- Energy performance assessments (new build / retrofit)
- Energy strategy evaluations and reports (new build / retrofit)
- Simplified/TM52/TM59 overheating assessments
- Liaising and meeting with clients and consultants
