Job Title: Civil and Infrastructure Engineer

Carrington West is seeking a skilled Civil and Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering consultancy, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement technical strategies and feasibility studies for infrastructure projects
  • Design and develop detailed designs for construction projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices
  • Assess the sustainability and environmental impact of projects, and develop strategies to mitigate flood risk and water quality issues
  • Coordinate site investigations and analyze data to inform project decisions
  • Manage resources efficiently to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results
  • Liaise effectively with architects, contractors, consultants, statutory authorities, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Develop and mentor junior engineers and technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Construction Engineering
  • Proven experience in using Microdrainage and/or Civils 3D software
  • Excellent communication and technical skills
  • Ability to prepare technical reports, specifications, and sketches
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel
  • Ability to think creatively to resolve design and development problems
