Graduate Civil Engineer Opportunity

Carrington West is seeking a talented Graduate Civil Engineer to join their team in Hove. As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic and established training culture that operates under a structure of coaching, mentoring, and collaboration.

About the Role

The consultancy has a varied project portfolio that extends across the residential and commercial, public, industrial, and marine sectors. You will have the opportunity to gain experience in a multi-discipline environment, working on projects that provide a complementing skillset as you work towards Chartership.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist the Engineering team in the production and review of engineering designs from pre-acquisition and planning through to detailed design.
  2. Prepare drawings in AutoCAD.
  3. Assist with the timely delivery of engineering information, including civil and structural provision.
  4. Liaise effectively with architects, contractors, consultants, statutory authorities, co-workers, and clients.
Requirements
  1. BEng/MEng Civil/Structural Engineering degree level or equivalent.
  2. Practical approach to design and awareness of construction on-site.
