About the Role

Carrington West is seeking a highly skilled Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in a dynamic and challenging design environment. As a Civil Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and implementing infrastructure projects that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake technical and feasibility studies, including report writing and drawing up plans and details.
  • Develop detailed designs from concept to construction, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Design and develop SuDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems) to mitigate flood risk and water quality issues.
  • Assess the sustainability and environmental impact of projects.
  • Coordinate site investigations and analyze data.
  • Manage resources efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Liaise effectively with architects, contractors, consultants, statutory authorities, co-workers, and clients.
  • Develop and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
Requirements
  • BEng/MEng in Construction/Civil Engineering (preferably).
  • Detailed experience using Microdrainage and/or Civils 3D is a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent communication and technical skills.
  • Ability to prepare sketches, technical reports, and specifications.
  • Competent use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Detailed understanding and use of analytical/design and CAD software.
  • Ability to think creatively to resolve design and development problems.
