**Job Description**:
**Our client, a public sector body, seek a PMO Coordinator, on an interim basis for 6 months**.
This role can be based in Glasgow or Edinburgh with occasional travel required.
**This role attracts a day rate of £243 (inside IR35) umbrella**.
It is critical the post holder is able to build strong working relationship with a network of key internal and external stakeholders to perform in this role. They will also be expected to contribute to continuous improvement activities to ensure the service provided continues to evolve with the requirements of the Programme as it moves through its lifecycle.

**Main Duties**
- You will help continually develop, implement and ensure you have a strong understanding of the Programme Change Control and Programme Business Case strategies, plans, processes and contribute to their continuous improvement.- You will engage, communicate and collaborate credibly with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure standards and processes are clearly understood and adhered to, providing assistance and advice where required. You will also use this strong stakeholder network to track, monitor and manage relevant activity in relation to change control management and the maintenance of the Programme Business Case.-
- You will be responsible for analysing and reviewing formal documentation (such as Change Request Forms) completing assurance checks and acting as a critical friend to provide advice and guidance as required to ensure they are of the appropriate standard prior to their submission for Board approval.- You will support overall Programme Business Case maintenance activities including helping plan and communicate maintenance and update activities, managing the document itself ensuring updates are applied and tracked and managing engagement activities with relevant stakeholders throughout Programme Business Case update process.- You will create and help maintain other formal Programme Management documentation, guidance, tools and management reports owned by the team ensuring their alignment to Programme requirements as it moves through its lifecycle. This will include the Programme Change Control Log and the Change Control Highlight Report (which is submitted to formal governance authorities).Essential criteria:
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and stakeholder management skills which enable effective collaboration with a range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels to help ensure team, function and divisional goals are met.- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to draw out key messages errors and/or inaccuracies and communicate these effectively, verbally and in writing to a range of audiences.- Strong organisational skills with proven ability to respond effectively to changing priorities and successfully meet challenging deadlines and ability to use own initiative to find solutions and help identify and manage improvement activities.
