**The Role**:
Boeing Maintenance Training Regulatory & Quality is seeking a Quality Systems Specialist to work with in support of growing international training requirements. If you have an eye for detail, an analytical mind, and want to work on a team that makes a difference every day, come join our team. Our team is responsible for the continuing compliance of all maintenance training activities worldwide including both internal and external oversight, and has many opportunities for short term international travel. This position allows for hybrid work from home.

As a Quality Specialist you will be leading quality reviews of:

- Complex proposals
- Contracts
- Regulations and regulatory compliance documents
- Program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program development
- Developing Quality budget and cost estimates

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Provide guidance to the Maintenance Training organization on applicable regulatory and quality requirements.
- Interpret regulations and provide guidance for implementation and continued compliance within the organization.
- Facilitate regulatory approvals for Boeing and Non-Boeing training sites.
- Represent Maintenance Training at customer conferences and industry seminars.
- Represent the Company on industry working groups to develop industry standards for quality.
- You will manage regulatory approved manuals and command media.
- Conduct regulatory oversight and audits of training facilities and classroom instruction for Boeing, Customer, and Supplier locations.
- Manage corrective action and preventative action (CAPA) for internal and external audit findings.
- Advise multi-function groups on the development of processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed.
- Consult in high level reviews of corrective actions at the enterprise and customer level to assure that trends or systemic issues are identified and advises on development and implementation of preventive or corrective actions.
- Develop and manage business unit audits plans and schedules.
- Train and advise senior management on preparation for third party audits.

**Required Qualifications**:

- The ability to travel internationally without restrictions is required.
- 5+ years of experience utilizing process improvement and problem-solving methodologies
- 5+ years of experience working with quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS91001))
- 1+ years of experience with Part 147/145 aircraft maintenance operations

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Working knowledge of EASA, TCCA, or CAAC regulations related to maintenance training preferred.
- Advanced office skills (Excel, Access) are highly desired.
- Experience working with foreign customers and regulatory authorities is highly desired.
- ASQ, CQA, or other professional quality certifications is highly desired.
- Six Sigma certification highly desired.

**Typical Education & Experience**:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).
